Halloween Preparing

Preparing Halloween for the first time with the family is so much fun to do.

We made our first pumpkin the other day and I have to say, I thought it would take much more time. It was simple, tool little time and was so much fun!

This is how we did it:
- Draw on the pumpkin - eyes, nose and mouth.

- Make a hole in top of it, but watch out because you need to be able to close it again so it needs to be a circle.

- Take a spoon or another tool and take everything out of the pumpkin. You can either use it to make food or just throw it away.

- Then start to cut out where you drew the lines (eyes, nose and mouth), I used a knife.

- Take that out, but some light inside and close.

- Now you are all set with you DIY pumpkin :)

Then my 5 year old got to make his own - He picked the biggest one in the store and started to draw, got an adult to cut out and put the candle he picked out in the store inside and closed.

And here are the pumpkins - My baby girls to the left (she's two) and then my boys to the right.

The most fun of doing this is letting youre kids to draw the face on the pumpkin, they make it so personal and cute.

Here you can see them outside in the dark with candles in.
