The weekend was full of excitement. On Thursday we decided to take a day trip to Sweden, on Friday we packed for the day and we went for our trip. We were not half way there when the kids got tired and irritated, still had a few hours left and then the shopping. So we decided to stay in Sweden for the night, It’s was going to be a relaxing family trip.
The trip went well and everyone had a great time (beside a few irritated moments for the kids), we saw a lot of things, the view, reindeer and fun places for the next trips. After few hours of driving we came to the first town in Sweden (Arjeplog), there we stopped for dinner and after that kept going to the next town (Arvidsjaur). We drove through the town and decided to stay there for the night, at Hotel Laponia. The hotel was great with good rooms, swimming pool, sauna, playroom for the kids and much more. The next day we went on our shopping trip, there was a heatwave in Sweden at the time so it was way to hot! We weren’t planning on staying for so long so we had to buy swimwear, shorts and other things. Ice cream was the first thing on the kids list (and a lot of it), we didn’t go home that day as planned, we just spent the day enjoying ourselves and turned it into a family vacation. We went out for dinner at Pinocchio Pizzeria and my god it was good!
On Sunday it was time to go home, we woke up early and got ready for the home trip. We then again stopped in Arjeplog to eat at the restaurant again and then almost straight home (with few stops here and there). This trip was so what we needed and so much fun but it’s always good to be home.
